A coffee magazine by James Hoffmann and Ben Szobody
Cherry Bones is a print-only magazine loosely adjacent to coffee. We publish art, research, journalism and whimsy that says something genuinely interesting about the sheer global reach of coffee and its cousins — very few food items touch so many people so profoundly.
We print twice per year on Extract paper made from recycled coffee cups. We don't sell any ads or do "collabs." Every issue is a limited edition - when it's gone, it's gone! You can sign up for alerts when each issue arrives on our contact page.
Pitch Us. We're especially interested in clever, ground-breaking or just plain interesting writing connected to coffee and food. The odder the better. You should definitely pitch us.
