Cherry Bones - Issue 2

Our second issue grapples with coffee's existential crisis, from the paucity of the gene pool to the economic ripple effects of China's frenzy for durian. There's an wild glimpse at how some influencers frame the casual coffee date, a deep dive into Italy's relationship with espresso bars and immigrants, and an astonishing piece of writing about the hunt for small luxuries inside a California prison. We also get a bit worked up about the opium trade.

Lower price: Thanks to the roaring success of Issue 1, this issue contains more pages (120) at a substantially lower price, and with cheaper shipping for US customers. We couldn't be prouder!

Our paper: Our first issue featured Extract paper made from disposable paper cups, which co-founder James Hoffmann filmed for our launch video. This was incredibly expensive, so when supporters asked us to make the magazine more affordable, we listened. We now print on Nautilus SuperWhite paper, which is 100% recycled, FSC certified, and a fraction of the cost.

* US orders ship automatically, and take 3-5 days. 

* Orders for the UK and the rest of the world ship once a week beginning June 8.

* After receiving your shipping notice, UK orders take 1–3 days for delivery. EU orders take 7–10 business days, Canada takes 10-14 business days, and orders to other countries can take 15-30 days.
